Homopolymer polypropylene is stiffer and stronger and is the standard for tanks and structural fabrications. Copolymer polypropylene is tougher at low temperatures and handles impact better, so it suits cold rooms and outdoor applications. We stock both and can advise which is right for your job.

What thicknesses of polypropylene sheet do you stock?

Common stock thicknesses are 3mm, 5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 15mm, and 20mm in natural (off-white) and grey. Thicker block stock and coloured grades come in to order. For fabricated tank work we typically specify 8mm to 15mm depending on capacity.

Is the polypropylene you sell suitable for food contact?
