What thicknesses of acrylic do you stock for cut-to-size?

We stock acrylic from 1.5mm right through to 25mm in the most common colours. Clear is held in the widest range of thicknesses; coloured and specialty finishes are usually held in 3mm and 5mm with thicker options available to order. If you are not sure what thickness suits the job, give us a call.

Can you cut acrylic to non-standard or odd shapes?

Yes, anything more complex than a rectangle moves onto the laser or CNC router, both of which cut to vector files (DXF, AI, PDF). Send us your shape and we will quote on it. For one-off shapes we are happy to draw them up from a sketch, with a small drafting charge added to the order.

Will the cut edges of the acrylic be polished?

Acrylic cut on the saw has a clean but matt edge. Laser-cut acrylic has a glossy flame-polished edge straight off the machine. If you need polished edges from a saw cut, we can flame or diamond polish as an extra step. Tell us at quoting time so we can include the right finish.
