Yes, foamed PVC has a smooth, slightly textured surface that takes UV-printed graphics, latex prints, and vinyl overlays without any preparation. It is one of the most popular substrates for printed signage. We can supply panels pre-cut to your final sign sizes ready for the printer.

Is foamed PVC strong enough for an outdoor sign?

It works well outdoors for vertical signage where the panel is supported around the edges. For unsupported spans or signs that catch significant wind, we recommend either thicker foamed PVC (10mm or 13mm) or moving up to aluminium composite panel for better long-term rigidity.
