What thicknesses of polycarbonate do you carry?

For solid polycarbonate we typically stock 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm in clear, with 15mm and tinted options available to order. Multiwall (twinwall and triplewall) polycarbonate for roofing is also stocked in 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm.

Will the polycarbonate I order be UV-stable?

All the solid polycarbonate we sell for general glazing and outdoor use is UV-coated on one face. The coated side is marked on the protective film and must face outwards on installation. Without the coating, polycarbonate yellows and embrittles within a couple of years of direct sun.

Can you cut polycarbonate to non-rectangular shapes?

Yes, complex shapes go onto the CNC router or laser, depending on thickness. Send us a DXF or PDF of your shape and we will quote the cut. We use plastic-specific tooling to avoid the chipping and cracking that general-purpose saws can cause on polycarbonate.
