What thickness of cork do you cut?

We do not stock cork but can order it in. We may be able to get a range of thicknesses to suit coasters, tags, placemats, trivets, and wall art, so enquire about the thicknesses available for your project. For thicker cork blocks we switch to CNC routing. Let us know the application and we will recommend the right thickness for the job.

Does engraved cork hold detail well?

Yes, cork takes laser engraving beautifully. The contrast between the engraved area and the natural surface gives logos and text a tactile, slightly burnished look. Fine line work down to about 0.3mm reproduces clearly, which is enough for most hospitality and brand marks.
