How accurate do my shower measurements need to be?

Measure each wall at the top, middle, and bottom (showers are rarely perfectly square), and note any out-of-plumb on the corners. We work to the smallest dimension on each wall and trim the liner if there is any wedge in the opening. A few photos with a tape measure in shot help us spot-check the figures.

Can shower liners go over existing tiled walls?

Yes, in many bathroom refits the liners are installed over the existing tiles to avoid the cost and mess of stripping them out. The wall needs to be sound and reasonably flat. Any high spots are ground back and the liner is bonded to the tile face with a flexible silicone adhesive.

How are the joins sealed between liner panels?

Vertical joins are bonded and sealed with sanitary-grade silicone in a colour matched to the liner. Internal corners are also siliconed once the liners are pressed home. There are no grout lines anywhere, which is the whole point of going to liners instead of tiles.
