Acrylic gives the best long-term clarity in UV and is the default for cruisers and yachts. Polycarbonate is significantly tougher and is the right choice where impact resistance matters, such as fishing boats, work vessels, and ocean-going craft. Both materials are available in tinted versions.

How do you template a curved boat windscreen?

We need you to bring in your old windscreen for us to use as a template. Please note we don't build frames.

How long do new marine windows take to fabricate?

Flat replacement windows are usually completed within a week of receiving an approved template. Curved or heat-formed windscreens take 2 to 3 weeks because of the forming setup and cooling time. We try to schedule big curved jobs ahead of the boating season so you are not waiting in summer.
