About Diffuser
Frosted acrylic is a great product for light control in skylights, windows and light fittings. Egg crate diffuser is a light and versatile product in a grid style with many uses.
Diffuser sheet scatters incoming light to produce even, comfortable illumination, either through a surface texture or through light scattering particles in the material. Prismatic diffuser uses a geometric pyramid pattern to redirect light downward and gives the highest transmission, typically 85 to 90 percent. Opal is uniformly translucent, giving soft, even light and hiding individual LED points, which makes it the standard for backlit signage. Frosted and satin sit between the two.
We cut diffuser sheet to exact dimensions for any light fitting. Measure your existing panel or the fitting opening, send us the dimensions, and we will have your replacements ready to install.

Pros
Replacing yellowed panels is one of the cheapest ways to lift light levels

Prismatic versus opal
Prismatic gives the highest light output and is the standard for offices and commercial fittings. Opal gives softer, more even light and is the standard for backlit signage.
Clear acrylic
Clear acrylic transmits the most light but does nothing to control glare or hide the light source. Diffuser sheet scatters the light for comfortable illumination.
