Cut To Size Plastics
At Associated Plastics, we provide customised cut to size services for most of our plastic sheets.
This tailored approach ensures a precision fit and saves you time!
Benefits of Cut To Size Plastics
Purchasing cut to size plastics offers numerous benefits, enhancing both convenience and efficiency for various projects. Custom-cut sheets eliminate the need for additional cutting and shaping, saving time and reducing waste. This precision ensures a perfect fit for specific applications, resulting in a cleaner and more professional finish. Additionally, custom cuts can accommodate unique design requirements that standard-sized sheets cannot. By opting for cut to size plastics, you also minimise material costs, as you only pay for what you need. Overall, this tailored approach supports sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and optimal project outcomes.

What plastics can we cut?
The plastics we cut to size include Acrylic, ABS, Polycarbonate, Polyethylene, PVC, and Polypropylene. Whether you need saw cuts, laser cuts, or router cuts, we can accurately cut your preferred material to size!
Acrylic
Acrylic, alternatively labeled as Perspex and Plexiglas, is used in various fields such as signage, displays, art, sculptures, glazing, and the food industry. Renowned for its exceptional scratch resistance among thermoplastics, it maintains its transparency, gloss, and shape integrity even after prolonged exposure to the elements.
Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate is characterised by an excellent combination of toughness, transparency, heat and flame resistance and dimensional stability. Polycarbonate is used as an alternative to acrylic when impact, flammability and durability properties are the primary considerations. Featuring a UV-resistant layer, it’s the ideal option for prolonged durability and resistance against color fading over time.
PVC
Rigid grey PVC has excellent rigidity, hardness, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance. It can be easily saw cut and machined.
Polyethylene
HDPE is a rigid, high strength sheet which is used in the marine, mining, agriculture and food industries. In general, polyethylene is characterised by toughness, excellent chemical resistance and electrical properties, low co-efficient of friction, near zero moisture absorption, lightweight and ease of processing. Natural (white) HDPE is approved for food applications and black HDPE is UV resistant. HDPE is easily formed and machined.
