APT founded by David Walters as a one-man business under his house, producing items like plastic windscreens.

1988

Steve and Mandy Thomson purchased the business and moved operations to Sussex St, Glenorchy.

New shed built at the Sussex St location, along with updated saws and equipment.

APT relocated to 5 Bender Drive.

The business expanded to 10 employees.

Purchased the first CNC router, a significant technological advancement for the company.

Malcolm and Antoinette Churchman became the new owners. Operations were divided between Birdwood Avenue, Moonah (office), and Fleming Street, Glenorchy (manufacturing).

Acquired the first laser cutting machine (600x900mm bed size), revolutionizing the precision and speed of plastic fabrication.
